Snow College Homecoming 2009

My homecoming day started off with the parade on mainstreet. I went with Tina, Nathan and Jeron. It was great we got to see scott wyatt (snow's president) and they threw candy to us and there was a cute boy next to us in a cowboy costume!!

We then returned to our dear dorm and i showered and SHAVED! ( i went a whole week without shaving it was nasty and needed to be done) I then set up my beauty shop and did justines hair in about an hour. it looked AMAZING!

We then got tina and started to decorate the upstairs piano room to make it an enchanted, romantic place for dinner. we got white christmas lights to hang from the ceiling and we tried taping them up with regular tape so we had to run to walmart to get heavier packing tape. We got back and that didn't even stick so we had to use nathans black duck tape that wasnt very pretty! jen would have been upset with the color coordination!! HA HA! anyhow so we finally got all the lights to stay up with much ductape and we covered the black with white daiseys.

We put white table clothes on the tables and put red ribbon across with daiseys floating in clear bowls and rose peddles spread along the table.

I then went back so my beauty parlor and did tina's hair and my hair. By the time we all had our hair done and our make up on, it was 5 oclock and we would be having dinner at 7 so we had to sit around and wait! we said that we could put our dresses on at 6 and then take lots of pictures! 6 came along and holly wanted me to do her hair so that took up time too!!

7 came along and all our dates were late picking us up. me nd tina guessed this. The boys were cooking us dinner so i guess it was okay tht they were late!! jeron had the excuse that a bull kicked him in the head so i will let this one pass!They finally picked us up and jeron brought me a rose..how sweet!!

we had an amazing dinner in our romantic room (as romantic as you can get at a dorm) we had mashed potatoes, and chicken, and rice, and bread and pasta salad it was all really good. We all ate and then took more pictures as a group on the stair case and in the lobby.

we then went to the dance!! it was so much fun i loved all the slow dances wink wink!! it was great fun! around midnight we went back to the dorm and had yummy homemade cheesecake made by tall paul!! it was FANTASTIC!!

i had a great night with jeron he is the best!!! ha ha i only used ha ha like twice..i am putting that on record!!

OH it's happenin!!

so tonight is the long awaited for jello war!! oh its going to be epic!!
Rebecca and myself went to dans to buy jello and as we were checking out with 40 packages of jello the lady that was ringing us up was like.." are you guys doing jello shots?" i laughed and then said nope she looked at us confused as we just walked away!!
we went to becca's work to make all the jello because she had a huge fridge we could put it in! we finished making the 40 packets and decided that wouldnt be enough so we went to walmart!!
jello was on sale for 38 cents each so we got 60!! we felt super cool walking around with out kart full of jello!! ha ha
well in the end we spent about 3 hours making 9 3 by 1 1/2 4 inches deep containers of jello and each of the containers holds 20 pounds of food!! so we are hoping thats enought jello for everyone!! ha ha this is going to be so COOL!! i cant wait
there is also going to be a slip n slide with dish soap on it and jello so we will be having a slip n slide down the huge hill as well!! oh i want it to be 83o already 4 1/2 hours!!

Welcome to The Mathback!

I recently put my Austrailian/British Accent to the test and made a math video with my friend megan! it was all improv and we didnt even plan what we are going to say...there are alot of mistakes through out it because we didnt take the time to go back and edit oh well it shows a bit of personality...

when we presented it to the class everyone was laughing and me and megan were crying out of humor and embarrassment

my favorite part was...when i randomly changed to a black woman and was like...be careful up there girl! oh and all of my mistakes..i said ya know aton! well its great GO MATH!

the "ha ha" returns

so i was texting a boy (not gonna mention any names)...okay it was Ben and it was like the first day that we were talking and then i got a random text from him saying

"why do you always say Ha Ha"

i laughed to myself and replied

"its a habit that i am trying to overcome but i cant! no worries my family makes fun of me all the time for it!"

so funny! thought you would like to hear this jen! 

oh by the way stand by for a funny video that i will post! made it myself for my math class!

uh...

well i have to remind myself not to use "ha ha" thanks jen and joe way to ruin me for LIFE! well i was looking through our pictures for the american idol concert and i came upon one..and it made me laugh..really laugh..cause i thought to myself ...wow jen does the best impression of jace before she even knew she was having jace! it was great!

looks just like him ha ha!! nice work!

ps. i had to delete ha ha like twice..and had to stop myself about another 3 times! i hate you!

My Funny Stories!!

 i have decided i am a great story teller...i could tell any boring story and make it so exciting just by my facial expressions and sound affects..ha ha like my brothers in a fight..with my lip action...anyways..i just love telling stories and hearing stories...i just am proud of my skills ha ha..i thought of this cause today in math i was telling this girl that sits next to me all this stories and i was just laughing ha ha they are great!! anywho..i guess i am just bored in the computer lab ha ha!! 

i should have forgotten about billy!!

so yesterday morning as i was brushing my teeth i looked up and thought..oh great i have english..then i thought a bit longer..OH SHOOT I HAVE MY FOUR ROUGH DRAFT COPIES DUE TODAY...i was like its okay..not a big deal they are not worth alot i just will do amazing on the final...well i forgot that it was the first day of the quarter so my dad kindly told me i now have a F in the class but it will go up!! anyways...back to the point of this blog..so as i was sitting in english i turned in my paper that said i got 40 out of 80 points for the day because i didnt have my rough draft!! mrs. snow was like..lets get all 4.o this quarter cause there are a few of you that i was not proud of last quarter (meaning me) so she was looking through the papers and got to mine and was like ...steph..no paper...and i was like its actually a funny story..okay not funny but...(then i told her about me brushing my teeth) she stopped everything and looked right at me and yelled THATS WHY YOU HAVE A PLANNER!!! THATS WHY YOU HAVE A PLANNER..YOU GUYS THINK THIS IS FUNNY??!!!! (i guess any teacher would be frustrated with me ha ha) i tried so hard not to laugh! i have never had a teacher yell at me like this..and she was kinda scary..ha ha well the night befor i did my sewing homework (write a story about sewing and mine was called Billys Mistake it was about a goat) that i found out doesnt have to be turned in until wednesday...so it was my mistake of forgetting about the big thing that was due and did a silly book that wont even make a difference...ha ha it was great but i used to be in good terms with mrs. snow..now i dont think so much...great..ha ha hope you enjoyed..thats two times i have written in 3 days!! ha ha
